DIGITAL MOLECULE GAMES STUDIO

Our client, Digital Molecule is a games studio located in Leamington Spa, UK. The brief was to create an office space for 8 users, that creates a contrast to the gaming industry that the end-users spend all day creating, focusing on neutral tones. Therefore the focus was to move away from the typical 'gaming' aesthetic that is commonly seen within the gaming industry.

The studio has been designed sustainably to meet the gamer's needs and desires focusing on a light, biophilic, and contemporary design concept. We chose a neutral palette that highlighted natural materials with splashes of the client's chosen colours, green and yellow, to give the gamers a rest from the bright colours they experience through their screens.

 

Please note this project was completed as part of 'Vision Studio' a partnership amongst 4 partners in total. My role within the team was to lead the group, focusing on managing the team and working on all aspects of the design projects from concepts to execution.
